Action Against Hunger’s Gala

Action Against Hunger’s Biennial Gala is our signature fundraising event, hosting more than 300 members of New York City’s philanthropic and business communities. Our Gala raises vital funding for our lifesaving programs, helping us to reach more than 28 million people in 55 countries around the world.

Due to conflict, climate change, and inflation, global hunger is on the rise. As many as 783 million people around the world are affected by hunger. As a leader in the global movement to end hunger, our Gala is more important than ever. Together, our 2023 Gala can raise more funds, spread greater awareness of our mission, and save more lives.

This year, our Gala will be on Thursday, October 19th, from 6:00pm to 9:30pm at 583 Park Avenue, New York. Join us to celebrate and advance Action Against Hunger’s lifesaving work around the world.

A passionately outspoken supporter of the rights of refugees, Davis has been an influential UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador since April 2017.  Davis is best known in her professional career for her award-winning role as Charlotte in “Sex and the City” and in the new series, “And Just Like That…”.  Davis also produced and starred in the Netflix film, “Holiday in the Wild”, which highlights Davis’ long-time passion for elephant conservation.
