Three and a half years ago, Sabrina Ghayour had no intention of cooking professionally…That’s when Thomas Keller brought his restaurant the French Laundry from California to Harrod’s for a week, and Ms. Ghayour tweeted, in jest, that she should do a supper club called the French Laundrette.

French Food Fest Comes to Brooklyn

"The Parisian food organization known as Le Fooding is making its fourth round in New York with five days of events to celebrate food and explore the cultural shifts unraveling in the local culinary undercurrent. This year, the culmination of events, which is expected to draw upwards of 2,500 people, takes place in Brooklyn, and is aptly named the 'Brooklyn Fling.'...As always, 20% of ticket sales will be donated to the charity Action Against Hunger.
